FACILITY PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Mila's Child Care is a newly licensed Family Child Care to serve the Elk Grove/Laguna area. It is operated by a knowledgeable and experienced provider in the field of early care and education, meets current health and safety requirements and is able to meet the needs of the children in our care. We offer an organized, properly maintained and secure place for your children to play, work and learn with other children and adults. We value diversity. Each child is recognized and respected. We welcome children ranging in age from 0 through 5 years of age and off track school age kids regardless of race, gender, religion or disability. We believe that children learn through active exploration and play and that self-esteem is built on mutual respect between us all - adults and children. We structure our program to be responsive to the needs of each child. Our curriculum provides goals, objectives and developmentally appropriate activities for all the children. We therefore offer opportunity for group activities and privacy to play or work individually. We will maintain an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for everyone involved. Interaction between children and adults will be responsive, full of warmth, respectful and supportive. When discipline is necessary, we will clearly state rules and positively reinforce appropriate behaviors. Parents will be well informed about the program and we welcome them as both an observer and contributor. The quality of care given to each child will always be a high priority for us, making sure every child feels welcome and involved.
